Metalvar deals with the following activities:- assembly of own and foreign products, from machinery to complete facilities at home and aborad,
- engineering,
- machining.
The company employs 230 people of which are 80% of the personnel listed below:
- mechanical engineers,
- mechanical technicians,
- mechanical locksmiths,
- welders,
- pipe fitters,
- electricians,
- hydraulic fitters.
An experienced staff is employed, who is gathered the experiences on the large facilities of Metalna, Hidromontaža and Montavar and is constantly being renewed with a younger staff. Metalvar advices, plans, repairs and carries out assemblies of complex facilities at home and abroad with its own control, testing and handover. Under its own control deparment operates the section of non-destructive control of PT, MT, ultrasound and RTG. The assembly has its own modern tools and transportation for their own needs. Within the company Metalvar is also a welding school in which top welders with all necessary certificates (WPS, welding of talons) are trained under the supervision of top experts.
The field of assembly is very wide and includes the following segments:
- assembly of power plants, hydro and thermal plants, district heating plants, energetics, etc.,
- assembly of process equipment, silos, furnaces, autoclaves, etc.,
- assembly of transport equipment, cranes, conveyors, diggers, etc.,
- erection of constructions, storage sheds, towers, etc.,
- erection of metallurgical equipment, rolling mills, foundries, etc.,
- overhaul of all above mentioned types of facilities,
- maintenance works,
- engineering,
- machining,
- machine park.
